i had a massive rant about over eating yesterday but today its a completely different story.
i went to the gym today and apparently burnt 500 cal but i think it was more about 300 but still because of that i missed lunch and ended up having an early dinner. but not thinking i had a really low cal one instead of treating myself to a nice one for once.
so now i still have 1200 cal to eat! and im pretty full after dinner so i dont wanna go and have something i dont need but i dont want to put my body into starvation mode.
opinions?

A day or 2 of under eating is okay. Maybe just drink some calories as it is not quite as filling. Have a glass of juice or 2% milk or both to add calories or have a smoothie. You can also snack on nuts, seeds or dehydrated fruit.0 -
Starvation mode does not happen overnight...If you are truly not hungry, then don't eat. If you are super worried about it, drink some calories..maybe some tea, or even some type of fruit smoothie!0

If you are planning on working out start eating more earlier in the day.
There are no ulterrior options to eating... if you need to eat then eating is the only way to do it.0 -
just eat or plan ahead like normal people.0

Starvation mode does not happen overnight...If you are truly not hungry, then don't eat. If you are super worried about it, drink some calories..maybe some tea, or even some type of fruit smoothie!
It doesn't happen overnight - or as quick as some would believe. I just had my metabolism tested and even after years of yo-yo dieting, fasting, bingeing and otherwise not being good to myself, my metabolism is actually quite high. (I wish my metablosim and my scale would get on the same page)
If you're not hungry, don't sweat it. After a day of too-low calories I would be super conscientious about putting the best fuel possible in to it the next day, especially if you're working out!0 -
Learn from it and move on. One night is not going to hurt anything. Although you might be a tad exhausted tomorrow. Maybe have a glass of milk and a Graham cracker with a tablespoon of peanut butter on it. It will give you some fuel to keep chugging but doesn't make you feel like you're over stuffed.
Take today and log it in the memory bank. If you plan on working out like you did today, remember to eat more earlier in the day so you don't feel like you have to scarf it all down at the end of the day.
