Unfortunate Side Effect

I started my life change almost six months ago and feel I'm really successful. Almost 30lbs so far But I remember back when I was really unhealthy and very over weight it didn't matter how much stuff I was doing, I would hardly sweat at all. Now that I've been working out VERY regularly it seems I sweat for nothing! You'd think when I was heavier and carrying around all that extra weight, I would have been sweating all the time but no. I used to make fun of my husband for pouring sweat at the drop of a hat, and now I'm right there with him. Anyone else noticed this?

The exact same thing happens to me, and I always joke that it's because I have activated my sweat glands. lol0

LOL, I like that!
It may also be because you are drinking more water - I notice that when I actually drink the water I should, I sweat a LOT more. When I don't. I barely sweat at all.0 -

I sweat constantly. 1 minute of intense cardio and im a freakin fountain! Guess that means im A. Drinking enough water and B working hard enough I can't wait till I dont sweat just from walking around...0

Ah-ha I can totally help with this one! I'm a sweaty betty too and I'm now pretty fit. If anything I noticed I was sweating more the fitter I got so I did some research. Apparently when you're fitter you sweat earlier in the workout because your sweat glands do learn to be activated earlier in the workout in order to maintain your core body temperature better.0

I'm the opposite. Less "insulation" I guess, but I'm more cold and have a hard time sweating. I have to jack my HR up somethin' fierce if I want to start sweating...that or dropping a really mean deuce will do the trick too.0

Apparently the more you exercise, the easier you sweat. http://www.trainrightblog.com/2011/03/28/chris-carmichael-blog-does-sweating-more-mean-youre-more-fit/0
