I'm stuck at 10st 3lbs!!! Have been for three weeks.... granted I have walked and exercised less and had a few "naughty" days but other days I have been on my 1200 goal or under it (I know, I should be on it or over it but thought it all pans out when I go over the day after!)
Is there any little tips anyone can give me? I could up my water intake more & going to walk every day this week and swim a mile on one day as well...
Just got myself all depressed about it today as I feel like its not working!

p.s No i don't eat 27tsp of mint jelly... I put it in wrong when i created the food!

Sorry you're feeling down hun. I think the main problem could be your lack of exercise. Also, are you being 100% accurate and truthful with your food, I was stuck for ages but when I took a closer look I wasn't being all that 'honest' with myself. Also, are you measuring as well as weighing?0

yeah i weigh religiously... with foods i already eat (aka salad etc) I weigh it by the bowl i use. If i have to guess with things, I tend to put the higher calorie stuff down just to cover myself...
I don't give in on myself - If I have something bad i log it so I hope I'm being honest with myself!!0 -
I agree with sunshine, if you are HONEST with yourself, you'll begin to know that what you are getting ready to eat (measure before eating) will put you over. This makes you more accountable for what you do eat, and helps you make better choices. You may also be stuck because you continuously consume less than 1200 calories, and you need to "move" more. You can only lose so much by just eating less, its a combination of the 2. Hope this helps0

Change everything up, the exercise, the diet, make sure you get that water in, 64oz per day and your protein, both were low on some days. Give it some time and I bet you will be back on track in no time!0

This is true. The most effective way to lose weight is to burn the calories through exercise rather than reduce calories by eating less. I bet if you committed to exercising as intensely as you can manage for 30 mins everyday starting tomorrow you'd see a difference in 7 days time.:flowerforyou:0 -

My problem is I HATE exercise... however, I LOVE swimming and walking but Jogging/Gyms/Classes/Running... is just NOT for me. I wanted to try and keep myself doing exercise I enjoy so I can loose the weight steadily and then keep it off by enjoying regular exercise instead of forcing myself to do exercises I despise and then falling back into my 11st 6 weight because I gave them all up as soon as I could.... If you get what I mean??0 -
Chels, I've lost 45 lbs since Nov 2010 and I have to say - I've done it by making better food choices and by WALKING! I don't go to the gym and sweat my butt off - but I walk or ride my 10spd bike nearly every day for 30-60 min a day, and at a moderate pace. If you like swimming & walking - well, just do do that - if you do it consistantly, you will see results - maybe not as quickly as some that exercise more vigorously - but the key is to find something YOU enjoy and that YOU will stick with. To me it doesn't make much sense to adopt a program that you won't follow thru with. It might take me longer than some folks to reach my goal weight - but I think I'm doing it the healthy way and that's what's important to me at this stage of my life. Good luck to you !!!!0
