How can one person lose 20lbs and drop 4 pant sizes, and I can lose nearly 30lbs and stay in the same size jeans I was in when I started 30lbs heavier?!! UGHHH!! It makes no sense!

I know everyones different, but when you see someone your height lose less than you and they are getting smaller doesn't that frustrate you too? Why am I not SEEING my weight loss?

:(

Have you taken any before and current pictures? I don't see a lot of my loss either, until I look at the pictures. Posted mine under success stories - 25 pounds gone forever just today if you'd like to see..... I bet if you do that, you'll see a difference....

I understand what you mean but look under your chin, this is where I see my change I dont have a double chin or turkey neck any more. pounds drop differently on different people.
  • When I lose weight it usually takes a while for my pant size to change because I've been in denial for so long about my actual size while I was bigger. Instead of my pants looking like they are painted on, they actually fit. It takes a while to lose pant sizes for me. I usually start to look better in shirts before I notice that I look better in pants. Congrats on the progress that you've made so far though!!! That's great :)

Well, if you're like me, I'm starting out where all my jeans are fitting me like a 2nd skin. I'll be in this same size 30 lbs from now - only they'll fit much much better. If you post some before and after pics, we can probably point out things you haven't noticed. (we are our own worst critics!)

    congrats on the loss!

Remember that people lose / gain weight in different places. If you are losing proportionally all over, it might be hard to notice because not one area is really sticking out as being smaller.

And I agree with everyone else. Sometimes clothes don't get loose, they just start to fit right :)
