New way of looking at food

Today I was thinking about food and eating and being over weight. And this is how I'm going to look at eating from now on. When I have a food craving or a food offered to me that I find very hard to resist, I'm going to say to my self "Will eating this (ice cream, candy bar, Big Mac) give me enough pleasure to out weigh the negative feelings that I have about being over weight? If it will give enough pleasure I can go ahead and eat it, otherwise I will force my self to say no. For me the good feeling I get from eating "quilty pleasure" foods only lasts as long as it takes to eat it, and the crappy feeling I have about being over weight is an everyday thing.

Just thought I'd share, maybe it will help somebody.
