I'm confused about my weigh-ins. I just went out and bought a scale today for the first time. I weighed myself at the store, and the scale said __. I just got home from work and had dinner, and it reads 10 lbs lights.. I'm so confused and I don't know which is true. Perhaps the scale is inaccurate? Or should I just wait 'til morning to do my weigh in?

I always weigh-in first thing in the morning, after using the restroom. I figure that is the most accurate, as usually it's been a fairly consistent amount of time since the last time I ate something.

Whatever you decide, you need to make it consistent....same time of day, same clothing (or lack thereof :embarassed:), same place in your home, etc.

It is also YOUR decision how often you want to weigh in. For me, it's daily, as it that is what holds ME accountable. This is a personal preference, and you need to do what makes YOU comfortable.

    Good luck!

The calibration on the scale could have gotten out of whack with moving from the store to home. Is there a way to recalibrate the scale? Should be something in the instruction manual about this.

make sure you weigh yourself on a hard surface. (like a tile floor). a soft surface under the scale (such as carpet) will make the scale read inaccuratley.
