I'm so tired of having fat legs

I have always been a bottom heavy girl since childhood - I developed at a young age (12) and started playing competative soccer. I was a size 7 throughout highschool but went up to a size 13 then back to a 9 and have been between a size 9 and 11 my whole life. The thing that annoys me is that I have a great lean upper body and I hate not feeling comfortable in shorts and skirts.
I don't know why I am writing this maybe because I am bored or frustrated that there isn't one exercise I can do everyday that will guarantee I lose these fat legs!! Ugh so annoyed...

I feel you I carry most of my extra weight in my legs as well. All I can say is keep at it. It seems like its taking forever but I am losing inches in my thighs and calves. It will happen0

i am like that too...upper body more fit than lower. it just takes more fat loss to 'even' out.0

My thighs didn't get smaller until I got very near the end of my weight loss. It just takes patience.0

I agree, I have the same issue! and it's like when I lose weight it's always more on the top half and my legs are still huge... so even tho my waist is smaller I'm in the same size pants because of my legs
But live2smyle is right... it will happen, it's just gonna take more time... keep at it, you will see results, slowly but you will0 -
Everyone hates something. I always like my butt and legs but i never have a tiny waist or any boobs. Deal with it, most of us girls have something we like, and something we hate.0

Try running! My lower body is a lot bigger than the top half. I've only been running for about a month and have noticed that my legs have gotten a lot more toned, and my calves a little bit smaller. Come July, I may even be able to fit into a pair of zip up knee high boots for the first time ever (even though it will be the wrong season!) Haha. :laugh:0

I fully agree...that wasn't a supportive statement at all. :noway:0 -
