it is time for me to throw in the towel, i have been on this journey since 4th june 2010. i have gone from 17 stone 10lb (248lb)
amd am currently 9 stone 2lb (128lb)
my first initial goal was 12 stone,
second goal 11 stone
thirs goal 10 stone 2lb
fourth goal 9 stone 10lb
fifth goal 9 stone 7lb
sixth goal 9 stone 2lb
eventh goal 8 stone 10lb
i have decided with a bmi of 20 and body fat of 18 percent i should be happy.
so i am as of yest officailly at my sixth goal and am stopping. the few extra lbs won't make a difference to my size of to the appearance of the loose skin on my stomach.
i was a uk size 22, currently uk size 8
had 41" hips, currently 34"
had 46" waist, currently 28"
was a 44H chest, currently 34C
anyone near goal or currently maintaining? feel free to add me.
i may have thrown the towel in to weight loss but i am now picking up another, to tone up and maintain for the rest of my life
thank you all

Good for you, your stats are amazing! Its says a lot about you that you realize that you are in a very healthy place and staying there but not quitting your journey, Just shifting your focus. I have about 10 lbs then I will be there with you. :happy:0

So happy for you....you should be very proud of yourself. I am also in the maintenance phase having reached my goal weight, and might I add I totally can relate to the stomach issue as well!!0

Way to go on meeting your goal! I started out this journey a US size 10 & at 151 lbs. I am currently below my goal of 125 lbs. (I weigh in at 122 lbs.) & I'm a size 4. I just started trying to maintain about a month ago and I am having difficulties. I sometimes have a hard time eating all the calories I'm now "allowed" to eat because I have trained my brain to eat so much less. However it is getting easier with everyday. I too am trying to figure out what works for me to tone up all this loose skin (I was once a size 14, so, it's not just loose skin from this journey. This weight loss journey has been years in the making!). So, feel free to add me as a friend and we can maybe help each other find what works for that task.
Again I think it's wonderful you've met your goal and you should be very proud! Good luck on maintaining! I know you can do it!0 -
Inspiring! Great job and good luck on ur next leg of the journey!!!!!0

It sounds like you have done great!!! You should be proud. I originally wanted to get down to about 125 lbs. But once I hit 140, I realized I was pretty happy where I was. I changed my goal to 135. I am about 1.2 away from my goal weight. I, too, am more concerned now with toning my body. You have done a fabulous job. Congratulations!!!0

Hey, that's not throwing in the towel, that's waving the towel around!! Great job on your weight loss. And continuing with maintenance is so important. I went from a size US 16 to 7/8 five years ago, then gained it back (went up to a 12); I'm currently down to a 10 but want to get back to a size 8/135 lbs. This time, I am determined to keep it!! Congrats to you and good luck on maintenance.0
