    Get yourself a heart monitor that way you can track calories burnt for any excercise but remember to deduct your BMR calories

    In fairness "Isometrics" is a proven and valid technique. :tongue:

    I have the electro-stimulus but it is for my bad back when my muscles lock up, and not for weight loss.

    As for the shake weight... well let's just say I'm usually the 'weight' not the shaker....
