I've read some reviews on bodybuilding.com and was wondering about branched chain amino acids. Have you tried them? Do they actually work on real people who don't have a ton of muscle to begin with? I'm about to move somewhere where I can start doing trx/crossfit/kettlebell training and I am excited but also scared of the pain.

You can take them in a pill or powder form, but you can also find them in some Protein Powders as well. I take Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey which contains 5g of BCAAs per serving.

Research says yes they work. I didn't know specifically for muscle soreness though. I take 10g BCAA's pre and post workout when I do a fasted workout to prevent catabolism.
