compensate with raising your activity level to active or very active, I do not register work as exercise simply because I am setup as active, on certain days when I am busier and working harder I simply eat more if I am hungry.

Walking is one of the BEST forms of exercise for your body! I have a friend who lost over 40 pounds just by walking every day for 2 hours (at a normal pace) and eating healthy:)

Count it in your activity level. Go look at the different categories. Exercise is what you do above and beyond your daily routine.

well actually its not in my regular routine forgot to mention this, its like a one or twice a month job for whenever people are needed. so its not actually a regular part of my day .

I bar tend and I count it as exercise in my calories every time . . . a 150 pound person burns roughly 156 calories an hour, thats based on an average shift . . . I lessen it a bit just to be on the safe side!

if i were you, i would forget active level and where a pedometer (you can buy them at walmart. they measure how far you walk) then i would put how many miles it says you walked into your exercise. im not discing the active levels BUt i have found that sometimes they arent accurate. like you might be super active the day you work then sit at hme all day when you are off work. two different active levels but it all shows up as the same?
