MFP Cruise being planned Dec. 1 from Texas

A few of us MFP members are planning a cruise to depart out of Galveston TX on December 1st. Thurs-Mon. Goes to Cozumel.
Price is $339 per person/double occupancy. The non-refundable deposit is $250 to lock in the price of $339. The total with taxes is $740.58 for 2 people. so $370.20 each plus $40 in gratuities per person.
If you can lock in this early saver price, and the price drops, then they will give you an on-board credit or knock the difference off the price, you just have to submit the request. The balance after the deposit would be due around 11 weeks before December 1st so...roughly September 15th. Cruise line is Carnival, ship is the Triumph.

Here's the details!!

Dates: December 1-5
Going to: Cozumel Mexico
Departing: Galveston Texas at 4:00 p.m. on December 1st
Arriving back to Galveston at 8:00 a.m. on December 5th
Cost per person: $339 + taxes of $31.29 + Gratuities of $40 = $410.29 total (inside stateroom)
(base rate of $389 for an ocean view stateroom, $469 for a balcony, $769 for a suite. (all based on 2 people in a cabin)
[However, If 4 people share a balcony stateroom, then the cost drops to $314 per person + taxes/gratuities
(Balcony room includes: Queen bed, one upper bunk, and single sofa bed. Sofa and coffee table. Full bathroom with shower. 3 closets. Private balcony with patio chairs and table.)]
Deposit: $150
Final Payment due: October 2nd
Minimum double occupancy to get the above rates so you would need to bring a roommate or find an MFP roommate.
Both parties need to book at the same time. It is cheaper to NOT book as a group but for each set of roommates to book their own rooms through my personal vacation planner. Since this is not a "group" cruise, you wont have to mention a group name, but mention that I sent you because she and I have already had conversations about the cruise and she knows which cruise it is. Also, if Carnival's rates go below the $339, we can submit an early saver request and they will either reduce the cost of your cruise to the advertised amount, or if your cruise is paid off, then they will give you on-board credit. The rates are subject to change at any time so the sooner the room is booked, the better. Each roommate will have their own on-board spending account so you would not be held liable for any purchases charged to your room by your roommate. I do not get any perks or price breaks, etc for putting this together (man, I wish!)

If you decide to book let me know so I can add your name to the list of people going, and keep you updated on any price drops. I will check daily for everyone and let everyone going know if the price drops and how to submit the request for the difference.

I can also maintain a list of cruisers in case we need to pair singles up to share a cabin.

Also, the rate listed in my previous post is the rate as of yesterday. If you dont lock in a certain rate, and the rate changes, you get the rate for that day. Like airline tickets
