220 cal version of nachos, cheese & jalapenos

I love these, and thought i would share...

What you need:

1 packet of Walkers baked; Ready salted flavour crisps
2 tbsp Old el paso jarred jalapenos (or any kind of jalapenos you can get a hold of)
45g Eat smart (50% less fat) mature cheese


Calories: 220
Carbs: 20
Fat: 9
Sat fat: 5
Protein: 15
Sodium: 330

Put in the microwave until the cheese is fully melted (about 1 minute)

Its a pretty damn nice snack if you like these sorts of things, and have spare calories for the day :smile:

  • Wow thats ace! I had the real deal yesterday-nachos, cheese, guacomole, salsa and soured cream! Neally 1000 calories OUCH!!!!
  • I'm sure you could always add turkey and/or beans and make it a meal too

    That's a great suggestion! Kidney beans or mixed pulses and some salsa would make this a wonderful and filling dinner.

    You could also get a fresh jalapeno and cut out the sodium used to preserve canned stuff. ;D

    This looks very good. As stated using fresh peppers will cut the sodium.
