Great Fruit Protein Smoothie!

Hey guys! Just thought i would share with you an awesome fruit protein smoothie I made today for my lunch after i washed my car and mowed the grass! It tastes so good and fruity! It would be GREAT for post workout as well!
Ingredients: (EXACTLY what I used)
1 Cup of Frozen Great Value Berry Medley (No sugar added)
1 Scoop of Jillian Michaels Whey Protein Triple Chocolate Shake
1 Cup Friendly Farms Skim Milk
1/4 teaspoon Coconut Imitation Flavoring
All you need to do is just put it all in a blender and mix!! It comes out nice and thick too! I added a sprinkle of Kashi Go Lean cereal on top for an extra crunch, you can even add splenda if you want! It really filled me up and is loaded with vitamins and protein! Only negative is that there is a lot of seeds, but the taste is worth it (:

I've been hunting new recipes & experimenting. This is the smoothie I threw together at home this morning:
Jillian Michaels - Vanilla Whey Protein Shake, 8 oz-(1scoop) 100 cal
Dole - Crushed Pineapple (In Its Own Juice), 122 g 1/2 cup 70 cal
Great Value - Frozen Wild Blueberries, 0.75 cup 53 cal
1 cup water
1 cup shaved ice
I need to get some chocolate flavored protein and branch out. Thanks for sharing.0 -
Sound really good, I will have to try that! Lately I have been mixing 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder, 1/2 cup of frozen unsweetened blackberries, and 2 Tbsp wheat germ. I dont know the nutrition facts right of but I am having this as a snack today and my food diary is open to everyone.
Anyone have recipes to use with orange protein powder? I bought some orange muscle max protein hoping for and orangecicle flavor but the orange flavor isn't really that strong and so needs some doctoring!0 -
I do almost the same thing every morning for my breakfast except I use:
frozen unsweetened strawberries
1 small banana
1 scoop of Jillian Michael's whey protein powder the chocolate or the vanilla
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk0 -
I love Orange Julius so this sounds really good:
Orange Julius Inspired Smoothie
5-6 ice cubes
1 cup orange juice
1 egg white or powdered equivalent
3 tablespoons sugar (or sugar substitute equivalent) – less or more depending on sweetness preference
*optional* 2 tablespoons of vanilla yogurt
*optional * 1 tablespoon protein powder
Directions: Blend everything in a blender for 30-45 seconds. Pour into a glass. Enjoy!
