Hi all, I'm Aaron and I found this site from google. I'm 25 and just looking to get in better shape for the first time in my life, I've never been in any sort of routine and just been lucky enough to not have any big issues, but now that I'm in my mid twenties and living a much more sedentary lifestyle with a desk job things are starting to go to pot! I'm a total newbie and this site seems to have so much great info and a great friendly community, and the tools are neat, hopefully I can stick with it.
I started the onehundredpushups.com program a couple weeks ago, I understand it's probably not really a way to lose weight but it's an interesting challenge to start with.
BTW happy mother's day to all the moms.

Add some cardio...jogging, walking, dancing, martial arts...in addition to your hundred pushups.

Hey Aaron! Welcome to MFP! I am actually in Fairfax, VA too. I have been using MFP since May of 2009 and have been slowly working toward my goal (and it has been wonderful so far!). Just keep trying and you'll get it!
