I started this with my husband about 1.5 - 2 weeks ago. So far I have lost 7 lbs from calorie counting and exercising 4x a week.

I decided to change my lifestyle due mostly because I'm starting to have serious issues like diabetes and hypothyroidism. Anyway I hope to make this a lifelong lifestyle change.

I'm 37 years old and have 3 children (ages from 14 to 8), a fulltime college student studying in Legal Studies. Thank you for reading.

    I can understand how it is to feel like you need a REAL change. NO MORE MESSING AROUND! I guess we're just not as young as we used to be,so we've got to just take things in hand and be serious about it. Congratulations on what you're doing!
