Hey everyone, ive encountered a problem.... ive been doing this whole calorie counting and such for 2+ months. My problem is people have started to notice and compliment me :) i know this should only add to my motivation but for some reason my confidence level has got a little high and im starting to eat fatty foods and not logging my calories. I know ive done well but i still have more weight to lose. Any suggestions for keeping yourself in check? Also i have few friends on here so the more the merrier! lol

    Recheck your goals.

It may be time to lower your Loss Goal. In other words: if you are set at "Lose two pounds a week" you may need to lower it to 1.5 or 1 pound.

Make sure all your info is correct in the goals wizard. If you are eating fairly clean and you're still hungry - you may need to listen to your body, and give it more fuel.

....as far as having more friends on here, the more you post the more friends you will find.

Are you asking people to be "friends"? don't wait for them!!

Join a challenge group or a funny/game thread. That's how to meet people you like here.

I know exactly what you mean. When people start telling me I look good I let myself eat a little bit extra here and there. I suggest logging everything, even if you are having an "over" day. As for friends or motivation, feel free to add me.

yes im asking for friends. lol. and its not that i get hungry (most of the time) i just get bored. i just adjusted my calorie intake last week so im doing ok there. i guess my problem is the first 15 pounds came off relatively easy and now my progress is slowing down which i realize should happen but what are ways you keep the end goal in mind?

Totally understand where you're coming from! I was able to avoid temptation ALL the time for about the first 10/11 months - and for the last couple of months I just don't know what happened!!! I would eat biscuits/cakes/chocoate until I felt physically sick. I also started snacking just before I was going to bed! I, like you, was getting all the compliments, only had a couple more pound to lose and I started thinking that I didn't have to be quite so carefull! For a couple of weeks I've been meaning to get back on track, but haven't been able to stick to it - then on Saturday I told myself off and got back on track! 2 days later, I weighed myself this morning and I've already lost a pound!!! YAY!!

I have actually found, that once I stopped physically writing down/weighing my food, I didn't care what I was eating. I've been writing everything down and logging on every day again, and I can honestly say it's working!

Nothing worth doing is easy, keep up with it and don't lose heart. I feel that all of a sudden something just 'clicked' for me and I'm back on it. I've even ordered 'Insanity', so I'm really going for it this time. Just remember that you can slip every once in a while, just don't carry on sliding!!!

    Have sent an invite!
