Wow, they should really do a better job of offering some healthy food options. None of that is lowfat, and it is all calorie dense. I agree with the above poster, I would brown bag it!

Do they have a salad or sandwich bar too? Otherwise I'd agree with the others and bring a packed lunch, or nip out to a local sandwich shop to get something healthy made.

Chicken Pad Thai is yummy and full of veg though, and around 400 cals.

Packed lunch would be my recommendation too if possible. If not then Tuesday I'd go for the carvery, I have roast beef, yorkshire puddings and all that for Sunday dinner and it doesn't work out too bad. Wednesday I'd be going hungry because I don't actually like anything that's on the menu lol.

Yeah... like everyone else has said - I would bring in my own lunch.

Or go out to the local shops and buy something that is healthier....

I'd take a packed lunch, BUT I remember working in an office with a canteen/restaurant and it was THE place for networking at lunchtime - do you feel as if you really should eat there for the sake of your career? I remember feeling that way too.

    Tuesday:

    Carvery
Roast beef served with Yorkshire pudding & roast gravy

    Wednesday:

    Chicken Pad Thai
Chicken strips wok fried with egg, beansprouts, red peppers garlic & noodles, garnished with peanuts

That's what I'd choose. On Tuesday I'd have the carvery with either no yorkshire or no roast potatoes. I'd ask for extra veg to make up for the stuff I wasnt having and I'd go mega easy on the gravy which tends to be loaded with calories.

The Chicken Pad Thai looks good too - I'd ask them to skip the peanuts if possible or I'd pick all/most of them out.

totally disagree with the other posters about how healthy the menu is! i think it looks great!

my choice for tuesday would be:
    cream of potato
    and/or
chicken & leek filo pie served with buttered carrots & roasted baby potatoes

    for wednesday i would choose:
    french onion
    and/or
    chicken pad thai

i think it is ridiculous to pack a lunch if work provides food, unless you don't like the choices.

potatoes have tons of potassium and peanuts are brain food. don't be afraid of fat content. real butter, cream, cheese, etc are all good for you. it's the 'low-fat', processed crap that is not. also, don't worry about it being calorie-dense; i typically always eat one meal that is over 600 calories.

if you talk to the staff, i'll bet they'd be happy to provide a list of ingredients for you to make calorie counting easier.

the only advice i have is to make sure and eat correct portion sizes! just because they give you 1.5 servings of something doesn't mean you have to eat it all. portion control matters much more than bringing boring 'health' food from home!
