My climbing NSV

I thought I'd share a NSV which happened yesterday. I used to climb alot as a kid and early teenager. Rock climbing, assualt courses etc. Unfortunatley I piled on the weight late teens and stopped climbing. This disapointed me but I got on with being lazy and doing nothing.
A couple of years ago I went to a Valley Park not too far from home which had an artiffical rock to climb, It's only about 8-9ft tall but Is high enough to test your basic climbing skills. I tried to climb it and was so embarrased that I just didn't have the strength to pull myself up. I gave up and hadnt attempted it since. Until yesterday.
We went back to the park and had a go at some other climbing, over a scramble wall etc I was finding it really easy and was amazed with the improvement in my fitness. We then went to the area of the park where this rock is. I looked at it and just knew I could climb it and I did, with hardly any effort. Today my arms have that nice ache which tells you that you've accomplished something. It's also given me the kick I needed to keep me motivated. I hope to get back out on the rocks in the future. I'll keep you updated.
