the past few days i've been trying to figure out when to eat my calories throughout the day and had been not eating much during the day, maybe 400-500 calories from the time i wake up till about six thirty when i get home, then i would eat a bunch between six thirty and seven when i start my other job, then eat again when i get home at midnight, and end up with like 2000 calories. So today i tried eating more during the day and now i'm at 1300 calories and its not even five o'clock. I don't even know what i'm doing I can't figure it out, if i start eating early it's like i can't stop and if i don't eat all day i binge late at night.

Not really qualified but I've found that you have to do what works for you....
I usually eat a good chunk for breakfast, have a deccent lunch, afternoon snack, and then a decent dinner.
If I have some left over.....Slim'A Bear here I come!0 -
What are your calories consisting of- what are the meals you are eating?? How often are you eating?? Are you eating breakfast?
We may be able to give you some tips and advice.
I try to eat 4-5 sometimes 6 small meals a day but they always contain a lean protein and veggie and the more I get toward evening the more I cut down on my carb intake. But it may be helpful for you to look at your meals and plan them a little. It helped me a lot especially with after work munchie syndrome. I also drink water throughout the day (sometimes sparking) and a lot of herbal or green tea.0 -
it's truely a lot of carbs, i know that's not good but i can't seem to figure out what to bring to work that's easy and will hold so i don't have to keep bringing something in each day, i've been trying to think about what i can do and what i could prep easily the night before, or stuff that won't go bad within the week, i'm very rarely home and live alone so if i buy stuff thats perishible it will go bad before i even get a chance to eat it. i feel like i have no clue what to even do anymore, i want so badly to lose the rest of this but all of a sudden it seems overwhelming with my schedule the way it is.0

Do you have a place for frozen meals? I know they have crazy sodium but it may be a good solution.0

yeah i had a lean cuisine for lunch its all the other eating thats killing me, and i don't even know why i'm eating it, i can't possibly be that hungry but i don't feel full even now. i don't get it cuz i was doing great for a while, i wasn't perfect but i would do 5 good days then two cheat days, now it's like every day is a cheat day and i think oh i'll get back on track tomorrow but then that never happens. i don't know if its stress or fatigue or just the busy summer months or what but UGH!!!!!0

Ohhhhh.....so you are struggling with grazing?
I never feel....."FULL"....satisfied yes, but not too full.
A lot of time our perception of what full is....is completely off.
Maybe that's an issue....0 -
I have a large wrap with 2 slices of turkey and bagged spinach greens inside for a snack before lunch and then I have another for lunch with veggies I steamed from the night before. These wraps are my easy low cal lunch and snacks at work. They fill me up and the wrap is 130 cal (I use brown rice wrap) but a sprouted wheat or whole wheat is good) Turkey slices are like 30 cal. and then spinach is 7 or 10.
Total is 165-170 and they are really filling. I am also trying to have lots of veggies and just take a min to steam some the night before work. The guiltless gourmet chips and salsa is great. Just portion out some chips and bring the salsa with you. Precooked salmon (at the deli) or cook a salmon patty the night before is a good choice as well.
I take ALOT of food to work with me every day but it is all lower cal and filling and I am trying this to stop the after work run to the store and eat a bag of chips or popcorn.
It is a little work to get your own system down but I have recently found it well worth the time. I feel a lot more in control of my food choices now.
Keep posting on here for advice/ tips!0
