    I have a micro-omelet almost daily!

spray nonstick spray in a bowl, crack eggs or pour eggs from a carton, whichever you use, add any other stuff you want, salt/pepper, broccoli, diced ham, even salsa! Stir/scramble.
Then microwave. If you want it like a patty, just cook thoroughly then slide it out of the bowl.
If you want it scrambled, cook it 30 seconds at a time, chopping/stirring between intervals.

The key is to spray the bowl with nonstick spray....otherwise you will have a hell of a time not only getting your eggs out, but cleaning the bowl.

I find them too moist when I make them in the microwave so I stopped doing that. Just crack them into a mug, pierce the yolk to prevent explosion and cook for about 2 mil. It will grow tall but it will shrink again when it's done. I sometimes stopped it mid-cook b/c the height was too much, I wanted to avoid a possible mess. Just stop and start again if you panic ;)

I cook mine in a mug when making scrameld eggs. You can always add whatever you like to it like veggies, meat, cheese and salsa. Just scramble pop in the microwave and check on it every 30 seconds. I like doing it in a mug becasue I dont have to scrub at it afterwords

Spray/butter the bowl, crack 2 eggs in, microwave for 1:30. Add what you wish to it.

You can buy ziplock steambags and cook them in that..they actually have a western omelet recipe in the bag (with a 55cents off coupon ..lol) I tried it last week and it was PHENOMENAL!

Also, I have put all my ingredients for an omelet in a baggie (like a sandwich baggie) and boiled it...the eggs turn out nice and fluffy and in a neat little rectangle...you can put all the ingredients in the baggie at night, boil them in the morning, throw it in a wrap and you have a breakfast burrito!

also...this helps cut down on PAM spray/butter/olive oil, etc...you dont need any of that when you boil or steam!

I'm sorry to burst bubbles here... but doesn't that zap the nutrients from it?

So I gather this works for egg beaters also? I will have to give this a try. So if you use a mug you do not have to spray with a non stick spray, right?

Don't cook in Ziplock bags. They are not microwave safe and plastic like that leaches chemicals into your food!! Cook in microwave safe containers only--and never in anything made of plastic!!
