What do you do after a bad couple of days?

This weekend did not go well for me. Junk food and sugar were my main staples due to stress over my Calculus final tonight. So today I am back at it but do you just start over with the calories or do I need to eat a few less today? Sorry if this is a dumb or obvious question but I am new at this stuff.

When I do this, I just start the next day and eat as well as I can, drink plenty of water, and get some exercise. The past is the past, and you can only go forward. Stress is something we all encounter from time to time, and eating is one way a lot of us deal with it. Just don't beat yourself up, and move forward from today. I don't worry about trying to "make up" for "messing up."
    Good luck with that final!

^this. We all have a day here and there like this. My favorite quote that has helped me through is "It doesn't matter how many times you fall what matters is how many times you get back up." Good Luck!

Try to learn from it... why did you eat badly? I find I eat more when I am bored as I snack and pick at whatever is in the house. Just start the next day with a positive attitude and let it go. Don't stress too much over it, just make better choices over the next few days. Best of luck!

All you need to do is dust yourself off and get back at it. If you can do that, you've got nothing to worry about

I feel ya....finals time is the worst!

What I usually do is try to get back to my normal routine asap. The way I see it, if you have a bad few days, then spend the next few days fasting (or eating drastically less..), then that's just more days that you're not sticking to your routine. That being said, I do tend to try extra hard to eat as "clean" as possible after a bad day, plus drink a loooootttt of water. I find that it helps with bloating. Or at least in my head it does...which is good enough to keep me motivated!

Just get back on track. Go running. Have a couple of days where I eat 200 under.
