Clothing Swap?

So I just came up with an idea, I haven't thought it completely all the way through yet so I was just wondering what some other people think. We all make up a wide range of sizes with various starting points & successful losses. I personally have tons of size 22 jeans & dress pants that I don't fit into anymore & need size 18-20 now. I have no use for the size 22's anymore. Maybe someone on here is just getting into a size 22 & have outgrown there size 24 & maybe someone else needs size 24 badly. I guess my question is, has anyone ever thought of doing a clothing swap or exchange?

Interesting idea. Sure would discourage weight gain since you won't have your backup "fat clothes" anymore.

That is a good idea. A few months ago, I called some friends who had lost weight and I took their 16's. Didnt have anything to swap with them but they had clothes in their closets that they werent going to wear anymore and they were about to get rid of them anyway.

    Good luck!

Yea I know, it's been suggested many times but most of the time, unsuccessful which is sad.

It's also been a big suggestion to have a "for sale" section for people to either sell or trade clothing and work-out DVD's b/c this thread will get lost in a matter of minutes while a "for sale" section is something that can be perused often.

    Good luck!

If anyone wants mostly size M clothing, really cute juniors dresses, here are mine :)

Excellent idea! How can we facilitate the exchange when we all live so far apart?

Here is my stuff, size 2/4/Small :-D love the idea of being able to do this, but it's true that it doesn't really work all that well

I think that's a great idea. I have a friend who outgrew a lot of her stuff and I got a ton of it so I'm set for summer and didn't pay a penny for any of it!

I looked into Freecycle. A friend of mine was successful in giving away clothes using this site. :)

I have 18/20tall pants and XL shirts and I'm currently looking for 16tall and XL/L shirts...

I found the clothing swap site on Facebook. I think it is exactly what I had in mind!
