I have to say I was totally kicking *kitten* at C25K! I was on day 11 of week 1 - which I know is weird, but I wanted to find the perfect pace for me while being able to bump it up from 31 minutes to 60 minutes - come to find out each time I would run, the pace would get faster and faster... I was super excited to get to week 2 and REALLY start the program!
Last Wednesday, I came home from work and was super tired. I figured that I'd been hitting the gym every day so taking a relaxation day was probably not a bad idea.... until I realized that I wasn't just super tired, I was getting the flu! By Saturday, I was such a wreck I had to go to the doctor who gave me flu meds and put me on bedrest through Wednesday! This is Monday and you guys have NO idea how much I want to go back to the gym and I probably would go now if I could stand up for more than 5 minutes straight - but I can't!
So, this is what I need advice on... The doctor said I'm allowed to go back to work on Wednesday. How soon after that can I go back to the gym and when I go back, should I start from Week 1 WO 1 for 31 minutes OR should I just start again where I left off?

Do whatever you feel your body can handle. Try starting where you left off. If that doesn't work bump it down a notch0

Agreed....take it slow and build your strength before diving in completely again.0 -
I'm dreading ever getting sick as I know it will be very easy for me to slip back into eating too much and not exercising if I do. Luckily I don't get sick very often and I was just before I started on MFP, hopefully by the next time I do, I'll have exercise and nutrition down to a regular part of my life.0
