eat my left over calories from today tomorrow???
i have 1000 or so calories left over today...i had between 1000-1400cals left over each of the last 3 or so days too
i don't have time to exercise during the day tomorrow and have p90x yoga in the evening(about 200cals) so would it bebad for me to take about 500calories from what is left over today and eat them tomorrow???

I wouldn't think it would hurt because it will all even out in fact it might even help.0

All the P90x videos (if you actually do the whole thing) are supposed to burn between 500-600 calories. That is why they vary in length and yoga is so freaking long.
I don't think borrowing some calories is a problem (from the day or two immediately prior), but I would just make sure that the calories are as healthy as possible.
Also, the reason you are given the number of calories is so that you don't cut out too many and slow down your metabolism. Make sure you eat enough throughout the day to keep your metabolism burning high otherwise weight loss can stall.0 -
Definitely! I try to keep my zig zag calories to within a 3-day window average. So I say go for it. Zig zagging is the best!0

i agree...then you trick your body and it's easier to lose:)0 -
You have an incredibly high exercise calorie count each day - can I ask how you're doing that?0

Hmm I didn't know I could do that. Because a lot of times I work out in karate late in the day and don't get to eat the rest of them, but then the next day I wake up starving...this could work.0

If you ascribe to the theory of calorie cycling, or zigzagging, it would totally be ok to next day your cals, as long as you are not going below 1200 NET.

i do yoga with my hrm on just to get an idea and it's only just over 200...i'd prefer it if it burnt 500-600...i might enjoy it a bit more! lol
as for eating enough, i'm eating constantly throughout the day quite healthily, which seems to be the reason i can't eat them all...if i ate junk, i could eat them back no problem! lol0 -

i do between an hour and 2hours on the treadmill at a fast run(normally about an hour and a half) and then i do a p90x workout in the evening...besides yoga which is a low burn, they generally net me between 500-600cals0 -
@kentlass I'd say I hit my numbers each and every day, which I do, but your weight loss has been great and you look great so whatever you're doing is working. Keep it up!0

I went over today because I was under yesterday...but I still hate the big red minus numbers it gives you at the end! I think weekly total is more important than daily total, i'm sure I heard that somewhere.0

You run between 60-120 minutes a day and you're only burning 500-600 calories? AND you're having 1000 or more calories leftover at the end of the day?
Something is not adding up there.
How many calories are you EATING a day?0 -

i hate that too...so i figure if i add it to my exercise log, but as 'left over calories' then i won't get the big red numbers! lol
seansquared...thankyou so much..much appreciated!0 -

i burn about 1000-1100 on the treadmill run...and THEN another 500-600 for the p90x workout i do in the evenings
i end up eating approx 2200 or so a day with about 1000 left over0
