in need of motivation

Hello everyone!!

I have lost 25ish pounds since november. I feel that i am experiencing a plateau... i even had a weight gain of 1lb this week (a first since the start of my journey). I was wondering if anyone had words of wisdom, ideas, or motivations to get me over this hump. Thanks bunches!!

  • Have you been doing similar workouts since you started? Your body gets amazingly efficient if you repeat the same schedule for a while. Throw in something really different (cycling -> boxing) and you'll feel the burn for sure.

    Change it up.. whether you push yourself harder or do something completely different. I experienced one 2 weeks ago...I ended up cutting out a lot of fat and have lost 3lbs since then...I'm already pushing myself as hard as I can right now doing the 30 Day Shred. Good luck!

    What I've been doing lately is looking at the before and after pics in the Success Stories forum. While I really want that kind of success, seeing the proof and knowing they didn't use pills, etc (as far as they're admitting lol :laugh: ) and with will power and dedication, I am aware that it is totally possible. You can do this! Look at those pics, especially pics of your progress and you will overcome any plateau you encounter! :flowerforyou:

    thanks for the ideas! i added a bit more to my running routine and started using the elliptical (even though i hate it). Hope to see some amazing results!!
