Hey everyone! I would love to hear maybe some advice about what to eat and not to eat that is in my diary? I always have a tough time figuring out what to eat! I'm going to workout soon, but I just need to know if i'm treating my ody right. My calorie recommendation for the day is 1,200 calories. Any suggestions to what you see?
Anything is appreciated (:

What is this aversion to protein and fat you seem to have? 18g of fat????? really?????
Also, sub 1,200 calories? EAT MORE!!!!
Don't be afraid of meat. Damn. You need more fat and you need more protein - thus, you need more calories.
Unless you don't work out, are like...4ft tall and weigh sub 100lbs, I see ZERO reason to eat less than 1,500 calories for ANYONE.0 -
Your protein levels don't actually look bad most days, but after looking back a few days and seeing some chicken in there, telling me you're not a vegetarian after all...deathtaco is right, eat some meat!
Many of your meals and snacks seem to be made up of small amounts of lots of different things, which gives me the impression that you might just be trying waaaay too hard. Don't stress yourself out over it. Your wrist in your profile picture doesn't look like you need to lose much weight to begin with, although I could be wrong. Breathe! Simplify! No need to make this harder than it already is by putting together complicated meals and snacks.
I also see a lot of processed "diet" products--bars and shakes and low-fat or fat-free this and that. A protein shake as a supplement is one thing, and I have had protein bars for lunch when I've been in a huge hurry, but you really do need more fat and you'll probably feel better and maybe save some money by switching some of those diet snacks for nuts or something. A lot of processed foods are also high in sodium, so you might want to start tracking that. (All-Bran Buds...you'd be surprised how much sodium is in those!)
Eat most of your exercise calories back, too! Especially on those 1000+ calorie workout days!0
