Hello Fellow 'Losers'!

Admitted, I'm a control freak! Installed MyFitnessPal's app on my phone 2 months ago, and it really works for me! Already lost 7 kg out of the 10, I aim to get rid of, and am almost spraining my back padding my own shoulders these days :-D What works for me? I like keeping track of what I eat and how much excercise I get done, which is the nerdy main force in my diet habits. Using my phone has made it easier than ever and actually changed my life! (And, NO!, MFP is not paying me to write this! ;))

Okay, I'm not exactly obese, and guess I never was, but I've always been concerned with my weight, as I gain just by looking at food. And I love food. It's not fair! Since I was a child, I considered myself overweight, though it wasn't always true. More than once or twice or twenty times, I managed to lose some weight and keep it off for a while, but those +10 kg always succeed to sneak up on me again.

Now I feel top-motivated to, once and for all, get down to my ideal weight, and keep it like that. Changing my habits hasn't been too difficult, but I know myself well enough to be aware that I'll quickly revert back to not caring much about what I eat, if I stop keeping track. I'm kinda compulsive in everything I do - passionate, stubborn and hardworking - but, when I lose interest in something, I really do so... It's all or nothing.

So, what I'm looking for in this wonderful forum is *sustainable motivation*. Though I already used the phone app for 2 months, I only recently realized that there's much more to MFP! 3½ years ago I successfully quit smoking with the main support of an online forum, and now I hope to achieve the same permanently life-altering result regarding weight loss. My aim is to build healthy eating habits that I'll wanna stick to.
And to look okay in a bikini this summer.
And be healthier.
And stronger.
And, more than anything, feel and look more attractive.

Anyway, nice to "meet" you all! Btw I'm 30 years old, born in South Korea, adopted to and raised in Denmark, but currently back in Korea, living in Seoul and studying Korean Language. I love-love-love Korean food, but have been forced to realize that I will grow seriously fat, if I keep eating as I please here. Oh, yeah, and also I'm actually way less boring, than I sound, when I talk about newly acquired healthy life style......

All you brave people - fighting! (as Koreans say)
