Low carb, high protein, gluten free YUMMY bread!!!
I have to share this with you cause this SO ROCKS!!!! ( and trust me other gluten free recipes dont!!)
Its a bread that I now make and then slice and put in the freezer and use for morning toast and my kid loves it with goats cheese and tomato salsa on when she gets home from school and it JUST HIGH PROTEIN and really good for you !!! and easy to make and I've tried it out on 2year olds and they love it... its aprox 100 cals a slice and yummy – shall I go on and on singing its praises...Ok – no I won't –recipe is next. Yummy Gluten Free sandwich bread:
1 1/2 cup blanched almond flour,
3/4 cup arrowroot powder,
1/4 cup flax meal, 1/2 tsp salt,
1/2 tsp baking soda, 4 eggs,
1 tsp agave nectar, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar.
1: in medium bowl combine all dry ingredients.
2: In larger bowl blend eggs for 4 min till fluffy.
3. stir argave and vinegar into eggs.
4. mix dry ingredients into wet...
5. put batter in well grease 7.5x 3.5 loaf pan.
5. bake at 350 on the bottom shelf of the oven for 30-35 min until tooth pick goes in and comes out clean.
6. cool in pan .
7 serve or slice and freeze individually, then put slices in zip lock bag.
