Asics!! I went into the sports store and asked the exact question, I also told the guy that I've been doing alot of plyo (Insanity) so I needed a really really good shoe. He told me the asics were always the best running shoe with a great sole and good arch support.. and he didn't lie.. I love them0

I would suggest that if you are running you hit up a local running store- they will be able to help you find the TYPE of shoe that you need, and then you can buy it in the brand you prefer.
For instance, depending on how your foot moves when you run you will need a neutral, motion control, or stability shoe. You can find these in all major athletic shoe brands. Last time I went I had an option in New Balance, Sauccony, Mizuno, Asics etc. I wear New Balance and I always have, but I think that's mainly because they run a little wider, less expensive and I find them attractive.
