Helpful site with Zig Zagging calculator

Options
This is a great site with a calculator for "zig zagging" calories. It tells you your BMR and then gives you an example on what you should do and how you should zig zag your calories based off of your BMR

My guess would be for extreme fat loss you do the first, steady loss the second and to maintain the third?

This is the same site that I'm using.

So the columns are how much you should be eating each day (it already factors in exercise based on what you put into the calculator). For me, I'm sticking to the Fat Loss column and eating the number of calories that it tells me each day. So you'd probably want to eat 2644 on Monday, 2116 on Tuesday, etc. It averages out to a calorie deficit to lose a pound a week (-500 per day) but it varies what the deficit is from day to day.

For myself, there are days that it actually recommends to eat less than 900 calories, sorry but that's just far fetched. Just because I'm eating more on another day doesn't make it okay for me to eat less than 900 on any given day. I am all for calorie cycling/zig zagging but I don't think that website is the best. Just my opinion.

I looked at this site too- I adjusted my calories a little....aiming for 2 low days, 2 high days, two average days....I found some interesting info on this site as well: http://caloriecount.about.com/calorie-cycling-g272. I kept my numbers in an evenish range....mine look like this:

    DAY MFP Set/NET
    Monday 1600
    Tuesday 1325
    Wednesday 1750
    Thursday 1500
    Friday 1325
    Saturday 2000
    Sunday 1700

    So far, LOVE zigzagging!

For all those using this site, please be aware that it adds in your exercise calories for you - so take that into consideration when planning for this. If you say you workout 5 days a week, and then have a week where you miss a day, your calories for that week will be too high.

That being said, it's always great to have new resources! Hope everyone does well with this one... :)

So, if I use the numbers the calculator gives me, should I not eat back my exercise calories?
