What would you do, if you knew you could not fail?!

This question was given to me during my workout today and it made me think a lot about my goals & ambitions in life. Particularly with my weight loss journey to a healthier me.

That's too funny, that quote was given to my husband by his father and is stuck to his computer screen.

    It's such a profound question....

I would be a lot more relaxed. I would not try as hard. Fear of failure is either what drives us to succeed or what holds us back from ever trying. I would hate to know i could not fail.

My first thought was play the piano - I've always wanted to experience making beautiful music. But it's got me thinking deeper now and more of an outreach to others (like stop hunger, suicide and homelessness, cure cancer)

I think I would learn how to cook fearlessly! Just dive in and forget my limiting ideas about failure, that it 'won't turn out', 'it takes too long'...etc. This is a great post, thought provoking!

To me failure is not an option. I know if I honestly put my best foot foward and stay positive I will accomplish all that I conquer.

I would open a relaxation therapy shop...hire a massage therapist, and I would do reiki, stone therapy, crystal therapy, I'd offer yoga and deep breathing exercises, and I would be booked solid for months on end. People would be very happy with my service and the atmosphere of my shop. My staff would love each other like we were family, and it would be highly successful. Or I would have a tiny little shop on my acreage where exclusive clientele would venture to my place for reiki and deep relaxation therapy. I would charge out the nose but still be highly successful while working at home. If I couldn't fail.

It's crazy how we can be our own worst enemy sometimes!! We limit ourselves way to much and it is mostly because of fear. At least that is the case with me!

I would drive at top speed on every straight stretch and take every corner slideways.

I could go pro rally and make people forget who Ken Block is. That guy's a douche!

This is an easy one for me. I would be an actress on Broadway. I took dance from ages 4 - 17. Theater from 12 - 25. Singing Church choir, HS chorus.... I loved it... OMG there is nothing more freeing than being on stage.

Problem... I didn't have enough self confidence in my acting and singing to pursue it. My HS drama teacher was a great actress. Commercials, local theater and a an amazing voice!

I've had many people tell me that I was talented; I just don't believe it. I wanted to go to college for theater but backed out. My fear of rejection has kept me from pursuing my dreams.

So....anything? Broadway baby.... all the way!
  • I would learn Spanish. My husband is from Puerto Rico and we go about once a year so it would be really nice to know what the hell everyone is talking about! lol Also, so my hubby and I can talk in public and most people wouldn't know what we are talking about. ;)

I love that quote. I have it on a card.

I'd become president and fix every problem in our nation. I mean, I can't fail, right?

I can totally relate to this. I have a horrible fear of flying so I'm not a traveler. I also have a fear of driving the high speeds on highways so I back road it. I limit myself a lot by these fears.
