    NSV= Non-Scale Victory.

    So an NSV is any measure of success that does not specifically involve your weight. Maybe you've eaten vegetabes every day for a week, or chose to pass up candy at the office, or your pants fell off because they were too large, or you ran your first mile without stopping, or you received a compliment, etc.
