I am a new member of MFP. I started tracking my calories last Monday. The reason I found this amazing website is because I went to the doctor and because of my weight (210 lbs), I could potentially face some health issues if I didn't get my weight under control. My goal weight is 160 lbs to start...and I will go lower once I reach that goal. Thus far I have gone to 208.2. I am excited at this mini victory however, this is only the beginning. I get easily discouraged however now that this is affecting my health, I am determined to reach my goal. I started an exercise boot camp yesterday which is 3 times a week and plan to include Zumba in my exercise regime. I look forward to seeing my weight loss success as well as everyone elses. It can be done! I will post a pic soon.
