Hey Everyone!

I've been reading about 'clean eating' recently and am thinking about giving it a try. Do any of you clean eaters have open diaries that I could take a look at for some ideas?

Also, I'm a little confused about certain things. A quote that I've seen often when researching this is “if it comes from a plant eat it, if it was made by plant, don’t” So my question is.. where does that leave things like cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese.. is it ok since it's dairy? Or, is it something to stay away from? Just buy Organic?

Thanks for the help!!
Katie

Katie, clean eating is simple though it doesn't ALWAYS have to be organic. In fact, you can eat clean even if it isn't organic so long as you eat foods in their most simple form and don't eat anything that is processed or that comes in a can or plastic.

I consider myself a clean eater and my diary is open to the public if you wish. Too, grab a copy of Tosca Reno's Clean Eating Book, or visit her website online. Lots of great ideas!

no preservitives. it needs to come from the earth, meat is fine and that includes milk and eggs as long as it is from a local grasing farm. No processing plants. Super market meat is not the best choice. Try not to eat very much meat. The meat you do eat needs to be grais fed. not cord fed. LOTs of fruit and veggies. I like whole grain brown rice with kindney beans and steamed veggies. THis is a great lunch idea and super fast. I am not a complete clean eater but do try to as much as i can. I am still merging into it. Good luck with it and You will feel better eating this way.
