I have lost 22lbs so far and was wondering how everyone did on their loss Month to Month.

Month 1 12.4 loss
Month 2 7.6 loss

Do you seem to keep up a consistent pattern or does it fluctuate?

The more I lose, the harder it is to lose it, and the longer it takes. I also tend to have a couple weeks of no progress on the scale, and then I'll lose a bunch all at once. Our bodies just respond differently to weight loss I guess. :-)

I was the same as runner. Each year I lost less than the year before and I would go long periods of not losing and then, BAM, lose several pounds for no explainable reason.

Just keep doing what you are doing!

    Congrats on your weight loss!

I actually haven't broken it down, and I'm not too worried. I'm just trying to reduce my calorie intake and increase my exercise. So far since I started (about Mar 1, but joined in April) I've lost nearly 20 pounds, which is about 10#/mo, which is about right for me. I've had days at a stretch where the weight didn't fluctuate much, and a few days where I gained or lost 2-3#, but I take that as water +/- based on sodium intake.

I think 7-12#/mo is about right. If you see a trend where your weight loss is slowing, then I'd look to other threads about ways to jump start your metabolism into high gear. Since I haven't had that problem yet, I wouldn't want to advise you how to solve it.

It's only been 2 months, so don't bang yourself too hard.

Yeah usually it gets harder the longer you start losing weight. It's important to keep pushign with the exercise (try some new/different things) and also mix up your diet a little (maybe alter the ratio of things). I've also found having a "bad" day every once in a while, which for me is somethingt like having two slices of thin crust pizza or maybe a burger actually will help me lose weight. I tend to have my biggest weight losses after I have on day of that and then going back to a healthy diet routine. This is due to your metabolism kicking into overdrive. Hope this helps!
