I don't know what to do becase I try to be good but the hunger always beats me. Please, please someone tell me why this happens and what I can do about it???!!!!???

What are you eating for breakfast? Can you provide examples?
Sometimes if I eat a protein heavy breakfast I'm starving all day, but if I eat a fiber-filled breakfast, I'm full until lunch time.0 -
That's how I am too. I usually just have a coffee or even nothing until lunch. Everybody says that you should always eat breakfast but I believe that we should all do what works for us. Not eating breakfast works for me so that's how I will continue.0

Sounds to me like you have a healthy burn as a result of charging up those engines and eating breakfast! Go you!
Just eat every few hours and stick to healthy whole foods and not processed food and you'll be fine.0 -
What time do you eat breakfast? They say you should eat within one hour after waking, but if I do that I'm starving for something more by the time I get to work and then I want another snack before lunch and another after lunch... What I have found that works for me is savoring my first morning coffee, which tides me over til I get to work, then I have "breakfast" otherwise I feel like snacking all day, no matter what I eat.0

I am the exact opposite: a big protein smoothie or omelette/frittata and a serving of fruit will keep me full all morning. I think it all depends on what you are eating and what your "triggers" are. I started limiting my fruit to no more than 2 servings, last piece by 2 pm, and that seems to help immensely as well.0 -
My thought is that because you are eating breakfast that is kick starting your metabolism - which needs to happen - so you are burning more calories.
I do agree with the other post that it depends what you are eating. Make sure you are getting protein, carb and fat in your meal. Plus how long do you go before you eat again? If you are not used to eating breakfast it will take time for your body to adjust to the change but in the long run it will help you lose weight and keep you metabolism up!0 -

So, you're breaking the fast at lunch, meaning your body has no fuel to burn for half of the day. No medical professional would ever suggest this. I'm glad this 'works' for you, but you're harming your body over the long term. Talk to your doctor, I'm sure they would agree. You are not giving your body any fuel until lunch...that's pretty kooky.0 -
Yes it works for me....if I eat in the morning I eat all day long, have tried many different things for breakfast and different times, always works out the same, I'm starving all day long and overeat like crazy. Like I said people need to find what works for them, I'm not saying everybody should do it, it just works for me. Also I have been losing 1-2 lbs a week since the beginning of February, so it is working for my loss as well.0

I usually carry either a 1/2 cup or a cup of baby carrots and munch on those throughout they day...they really curb my hunger and they're not many calories at all.0

I normally eat a granola bar of some kind. Tends to be a protein and fiber rich bar like Cliff bars or Kashi Go Lean bars.0

I have to break my breakfast up. I usually start with coffee and maybe a fruit, then a hour and a halfsih later I will have a bowl of oatmeal. That helps me not feel hungry until lunchtime0
