Hi, beautiful,
since you are making it yourself, you can just measure everything you put into, say, spaghetti, and then divide into ## of portions. It is meticulous and it won't be precise, but then nothing is 100%. Spaghetti has a calories for a serving size on the box. Hope this helps.0 -
try going to calorieding.com and see if they have the info u need it is a great supplemental site to this one for just that finding out calories and also how many are burned with different activity. hope it helps

PrincessLaundry just posed a great site (I have used it) to count the nutritional infomation in what you made. www.sparkpeople.com.
I wasn't sure how to drop her post in here as a link...0 -
I have the same problem (and the same number of children). Whatever I make for them, like shaghetti for example, I measure some out for myself before adding anything I'm giving them that I don't want to eat (i.e. lots of cheese). Last night I made fish, brown rice and salad. Since all 3 were straight forward dishes, I just measure out my portions. Sometimes I just make something entirely different for myself since I know they won't like my food anyhow. If I make them macaroni & cheese (too difficult IMHO to figure out the calories), I'll make tofu and quinoa stir fry for myself.
Hope this helps.0 -
i make it a meal. I have my meatloaf in the system. I just pick it and divide it by my serving.0
