Hey I have trich, just wondering if there are any trich sufferers out there on here who wanna chat with me I find whenever i'm stressed about dieting i often have a pulling fit and it leaves me feeling awful. anyone out there who wants to get a little support group going on here?
If you dont know what trich is, well, basically it's where you have an uncontrollable desire to pull hair from your body, usually the head, although i suffer from my eyelashes too. Google it!

omg! i've had it since i was 13! i thought i was the only one! lol. ya, mine gets so bad i just find hair all over the couch or in the car and have no recollection of pulling it out. or i'll notice i'm doing it and just can't stop. it sucks.

yeah ive had it since i was 13 too! it started with my eyelashes and eyebrows, only recently have i started on my hair - its bad times! stress makes it a million times worse for me, i dont know about you? x

i have never really been able to pinpoint it. i'm sure stress is a big part of it but i don't get stressed very easily. however, i deal with it a lot less now then i used to. it was so bad in highschool that i had to shave my head twice because i was getting these huge bald spots. then once it was super short i couldn't pull it out anymore so then i'd stop for a while but then once it got long again i'd start the cycle over again. so i just keep it short enough now that it's less tempting i guess. i've never done the eyebrows but i've done the eyelashes a few times. the lower back of my head and the top middle are the worst for me.
