What happens if you're below your calorie goal? I've only eaten like half of what my goal is and I'm down eating for the day....I'm assuming that could be a bad thing? Or not...dunno...help please? And thank you ;-)

Well if your excercising and aren't eating enough your body holds onto the fat as it feels like it is starvation mode....but you also don't want to eat late at night, so I say try again tomorrow : )

By the time I get everything logged for the day, I'm always below on my calories.

You lose weight faster! :) Well its fine for a short period to consume below your calorie goal, and ultimately your body will starve and start hacking away at your fats for food! But in the long run, its not really recommended. Cheers & good luck!

Try to add in healthy fats - olive oil, nuts, avacados - easy way to make those calories add up a little faster.

The way I understand it is that you should eat a minimum of 1200 calories net in a day (so if you are exercising, you need to eat enough calories to cover the calories you burned exercising and then make it to 1200) or your body will go into starvation mode. When it does this, it will store the fat and get the energy needed from muscle. I suppose that once in a while won't do significant damage to your body, but if done every day your body will definitely start to go into starvation mode. Of course I'm no expert, just relaying what I've heard and researched. Good luck on your journey!
