So I have discovered a health problem and i can no longer do things like elipitical (for more than 15 min 3-4 times a week and i was 45 min 5-6 times a week) and run . I am still losing weight because i have cut alot of calories out of my diet. HOWEVER i want to be able to do more than walk around . HELP!

Just take it one step at a time, it will come. If you do too much at once you will risk getting too tired and not working out at all!0

How about swimming, yoga, pilates? What kind of restrictions/limitations do you have in terms of your health? Is it permanent or an injury that may or may not get better? Pilates is especially good if you're going through injury rehab and if you find a qualified instructor they will be able to guide you through exercises that will strengthen your injury prone areas.
It is difficult to give specific advice without knowing more about what's restricting your exercising.0 -
You should try biking or taking spin class. They are easy on joints and can be high-intensity cardio workout. Weight training with sited positions are good too. I also like yoga and Pilate. I had a ankle injury three years during a climbing trip, my yoga instructor helped me heal so much faster. Yoga and Pilate can burn a lot of calories too. It just depends on your level and the class style. I am a long time runner but my legs are usually soft as gel after my reformer class.0

I have fibromyalgia and an ankle recovery from full reconstruction surgery 2 years ago, so I know pain.
On days I"m really hurting aqua exercise is best. You can run, walk, use water weights, etc.
Depending on the where the cyst is a recumbent elliptical might work. Same no impact on the knees but you are sitting in a recumbent position. My ankle can't do the ellipitical or bike vertical or ellipitical, but I'm go go go on the recumbant elliptical.0
