Has anyone experience with the Cardio wave? We have it at our gym, I already used it several times, think it's a good exercise!

Here you can find some information:

Hey we have those at my gym, but I never knew that was the name of them! I can't do them- they kick my butte within the first 5-10 min...

I'm not sure I'm at that point just yet.....

I was on the Cardio Wave yesterday for 30 minutes! I thought if I'd do 10 to 15 minutes I'd be good, but 30 minutes. I'm really astonished and happy that I did it! :-)

Hi, everyone. We have one of these Cardio Wave machines at my gym, but I've never seen anyone on it. I tried it today and it was really tough and seemed to burn an amazing number of calories, but I wasn't sure if I was doing it right and went back to the traditional elliptical after 15 minutes. I'd like to try again - any tips? It felt very jerky to me, and I think I pushed to the side for too long, as there was a clink and a bit of a jerk when the step would extend all the way. I'm assuming it should be a more free-slowing motion. I found it easier going on the high levels (15-20) - less resistance - and more challenging on the low levels (1-10). Any advice or suggestions for me? Worth it to keep trying? How frequently can you do it and for how long and at what approximate level of resistance?

Thanks so much for any suggestions you may have!

Nice to hear that someone else is also trying the Cardio Wave Machine! I must say it's my favourite machine at the moment! The first time I didn't like it, but I didn't give in and tried again.

Well it is true the low levels are more challenging. We have the levels 1 to 10 and I usually use 2 or 3. Just do 10 to 15 minutes in the beginning and raise slowely! "Practice makes Perfekt!" ':-)

Wow.... I bet you get a major inner thigh and butt workout. It looks interesting..... but I have to admit that I was giggling when I watched the link about them. Do you guys do the arm work? Are there machines in a row like that ? LOL Just teasing.
It really does look like a good workout. Where do you feel the most burn during the exercise? What about the next day?
We don't have one of these at our gym, but I'm in a small town.

I tried it today for the first time. I think I'm going to like it. Not sure how to add it to MFP exercise log though.
