Hello!
I was looking into these work out sets, and was wondering what your experience was? Can you add strength and cardio on top of these? Which do you prefer? And finally, what else do you need to purchase with the respective sets?
Thanks so much for your input!!

I am doing a hybrid combination of the two, and love them both!! Chalean is a lot of strength training, so you need a few dumbells, Turbo fire is a lot of cardio and that comes with the resistance band. But you can do any of the workouts with no equipment at all. I picked up the Chalean workout because everyone keeps saying you need to build muscle to burn fat and keep up with the cardio workouts. I hope that helps a little bit!! But any of Chalene's workouts are really fantastic burns0

I'm currently doing chalean extreme and i can't find one negative thing to say about it. It's the most dedicated i've ever been to a program and i absolutely love it. i look forward to it every single day (no joke).
I've never done turbofire (although i've wanted to & would if i could afford to) but i've started the c25k and i do that for more cardio along with chalean extreme. i love it.0 -
Haven't done ChaLean but I love Turbofire! It really works your abs and it is fun. I sweat more with it than I did with Insanity, which I know sounds insane but it's true! You don't need anything for Turbofire.
Ideally, a hybrid of both would be the best!0 -
ChaLean Extreme is mostly strength training but in the set, there is a cardio disk- maybe 2, I don't recall. ChaLean works! She is so motivating! Seriously, I looked forward to it, not like, oh, I have to go do my exercise...ho humm, but more Let's do it! Yeah!!
I did it for about 6 weeks before my car accident and I was getting so many people asking me what I had been doing cuz I lost so many inches! She suggests to add more cardio, too, if I remember correctly. One of the disks is just for abs and OMG...did that one burn! There's a calander you follow to see what workout disks to use each day. I bought my set off ebay but I found the calendar online; I have it on my blog for easier finding. www.try2basunbeam.blogspot.com if you get the set used and it doesn't have the extra pamplets.0 -
Thanks for your replies! I'm looking at the Chalean Extreme one, and found a set online for 45 dollars.. I'm thinking I might just get it! Sounds like it has been working for you guys!0
