So I'm stuck. I'm stuck at my dreaded plateau weight, and I need your help. I'm in desperate need of exercise and food advice that works for all my other MFP, but don't have time to scroll through the pages of each entry. Would you help? I would love to have your favorite food and workout program for a day, therefore I can try them all and be everyones lab rat! My largest problem is time... I work 8-5 M-F and 7am-12pm Sat. I ride my horse 5 days a week an hour each time, and kick box 2 times a week for an hour. I'm a single mom and cannot neglect my daughter for a gym membership. So I need home workouts that are realistic so that I don't have to stay up till 11pm to get my workout in. As far as food is concerned, I'm not picky one bit
Will you help me?

If you haven't considered it yet, try zig-zagging/cycling your calories. It helps keep your metabolism from stabilizing at a plateaued effect.

For food, I eat 6 times a day (6:30 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 2:30 pm, 5 pm, 7:30 pm). I am on 1350-1500 cals a day so I usually break it up to:
Meal 1- 200-300 cals
Meal 2- 150 cals
Meal 3- 250-350 cals
Meal 4- 150 cals
Meal 5- 500 cals
Meal 6 - 100-200 cals
For my macronutrients I do 50% carbs, 25% fat, 25% protein.
As for exercise I really don't have too much advise. How old is your daughter? Maybe there is something you can do that incorporates so you can get your workout in while spending time with her. I have an 8 month old son and I bought a jogging stroller and go running with him 3-4 days a week. Now that summer is coming I am hoping to spend time swimming with him as way of working out. If your daughter is older, maybe try some hiking, or a game of tag. You can also check out your area, some gyms and dance studios have classes that you can do with your children. I know my gym has a father son indoor soccer night, family roller skate night, family swim nights, and family fun nights (they set up like a family olympics type thing). check out your area community centers, they might have similar programs.0
