    It always bothered me that the grocery store offered....no chased my kids with their cookies. :grumble:

    They do offer cookies at the bakery and one time I offered one to her and she didn't want it. I always offer her fruits and vegetables so now she loves them.

    Seriously! What a nutter. Grocery shopping is an experience these days.

    Had this really been an issue they could have pulled a banana off a bunch and weighed it very easily.
    I'm glad the store manager was so friendly.

    That is way too funny! Good for you girl! Stand up for yourself and your daughters right to a banana! SHEESH! My son loves them too! The first thing he does when we walk into the store (I always start with produce) is get all excited and go "Nanaaa, wheee ahhhhhh yewwwww???" :laugh: :laugh:

    I mean, for crying out loud....I think there are more important things to worry about. Unfortunately there is always a busy body who thinks they need to voice their opinion, even when it's not necessary!! Yes, I don't think that 10 cents is going to ruin their money count!! :laugh: I mean, how often does the deli give free cheese slices to try..and for the kids to have?? Mine does it all the time! I bet cheese is more expensive than a friggin banana!

    Oh well.....karma will get her! :devil: :devil:

"yes, I will take the banana.... the offender was him...." pointing to cute little boy in the cart. :blushing:

    Maybe this lady has not had a banna in a long time and is taking it out on anyone she can.


    We sometimes grab a soda at the checkout lane and walk through the store and then scan the empty bottle. I will be d@#n if it doesn't charge the same amount as a full one, Freaking nosy people. Good story.
