First off, there is the Polar FT7 AND the Polar FT7F. They seem to be the same. Am I right?

Also, this listing --

let's me buy the "women's" version for MUCH cheaper then the "one size fits all" etc.
What's the difference?!!

And if you have this HRM, how do you feel about it?

Thanks so much!

I learned that the FT7F is the female version, and that the only difference is the size and colors. Also, I was told that the male version would fit females and both let you set the gender during setup so I say get whichever is cheaper!

Jodi is 100% correct. Just went through this two days ago. There are slightly cheaper places to buy them online (newegg, etc), but I wound up buying mine locally at BestBuy.

So far, really impressed with it (although user error wound up costing me the recording session of my workout today - blah!).

Just wish there was a cheaper/easier way to upload that stored data...

If you want the FT7 look at drugstore.com... After all the discounts and a coupon from couponcabin.com it winds up being around 79.99... Only issue there is, it only allows you to get the black/gold or black/silver one.. the red and silver one and red and black one are not on sale.
