So I've been weighing the same weight for about a week and a half now...I've been eating 1200-1300 calories a day, and I've lost 25 pounds so far.

Explain??

You're body gets used to what you're doing. Try Zig-Zagging calories or switching up your excersize routine :)

Yep. Flip up to maintenance for a week or so and confuse your body.

Jillian michaels has a brand new pod-cast on Itunes regarding Plateauing.

    Good luck!
  • I stopped exercising for a week. I also had hot water with lemon juice in every morning, supposed to boost your metabolism or something?

Doesn't sound like a plateau to me. Sounds like your body might be asking, "What's going on?" Sometimes the pounds can be a little stubborn, but you shouldn't stop what you're doing yet.

How long have you been restricting your calories to this level? What sort of exercise do you do? Do you eat the calories you burn during exercise? Have you changed your workout in a major way in the last week?

About every 25 pounds I've lost my body has done the same things - I just changed stuff up about a week and a half ago as well and have seen no drop (in fact saw a slight increase) but clothes are fitting "better" and I feel tons better - It will happen - the zigzagging certainly won't hurt as if you aren't in a plateau then your body will still keep getting a deficit, and if you are in a plateau it will help break it...
