what is this "bump" that I am seeing on posts?

    The topics with the most recent activity are shown at the top of the list. If someone wants to move a topic "up" to get more responses, they'll post "bump" to bump it up to the front.

    it 'bumps' the post to the top of the topics list.

    so your "bumping" it up so others can see it and you can get more responses.

    When your post is older then some min/hours it is most likey that it has been replaced by new posts.
    People then just go throw a useless comment on the post like ''bumb'' to get the post back on top =)

    Thanks for clarifying that one cos I have been wondering what on earth that was and figuring everyone knew except me. I thought it stood for something lol
