I'm just starting on this site and hoping it helps me stick to eating healthier! I'm constantly going back and forth between wanting to eat healthy all the time and trying to resist temptation of unhealthy food. Also from the amount of food I eat sometimes I assume i'm always hungry even if im really not. Does anyone have any tips to jumpstart or to get myself over wanting to eat all the time? (especially unhealthy snacks).

I cannot get over wanting to eat all the time, so I do :) I just eat small, healthy snacks throughout the day. If you are feeling hungry you are going to end up eating something you shouldn't eventually. I currently eat something pretty much every 2 hours and I am almost NEVER hungry.

    Plan ahead.
Eat three meals and two or three snacks.
Eat every two or three hours.
Balance each snack/meal with lean protein and good carbs.
    (i.e. Snacks-7g protein & 15g carbs, Meals-15g protein & 30g carbs.)
Keep snacks around 150-200 calories and meals around 300-400 calories.
    Drink lots of water.

This is what I've done that works for me. Got info from my nutritionist.

Drink LOTS of water and fill up on healthy low-cal things (like veggies)
