HI! I am new to myfitnesspal. I've made healthy choices about food and eating in the past and saw much success. However, recently I've been lazy and "fell off." Well, needless to say I am back and COMMITTED to meeting my goals, living a healthier life, feeling better physically and physiologically, and modeling healthy eating habits for my family.
I would love to get to know some of my fitness buddies and develop supportive relationships with people who can relate to this rocky road of weight-loss.
I have a wonderful husband and three kiddies. NONE of which are counting calories, fat grams, and carbohydrates...:( LOL
I buy healthy foods, however, with the dynamics of my family, it is essential, in my mind at least, to have SOME snacks (besides, my husband likes to have his select snacks occassionally).
With this being said, I am almost CONSTANTLY fighting temptation, especially being a "foodie" with a serious sweet tooth. I learned to cook with very "rich" ingredients and one of my favorite Food Network personalities is Paula Deen...enough said, right? LOL
Well, those days are over, and while allowing myself occassionally, I really need to get myself and my family on board with a "better way." Slowly but surely there has been changes and I'm proud of that. I just need to re-accustom myself to NOT eating what I want, when I want...including food smoothered in butter and cheese...OH, and dessert of course...and yes, smoothered in chocolate.
So...let the games begin!
Giving myself until the end of the summer to drop 30lbs!
Be blessed fitness buddies. See ya on the skinny side:)
